Brittle- Ability to break or crack easily
Ductile- the ability of metal to be pulled into a wire
Texture- how an object fels on th surface
Physical Properties- Characteristics of matter that can be observed or measured WITHOUT changing the identity of the matter
Salinity- The measure o how much salt is in a liquid
Cohesion- the attraction between between particles that tends to hold them together
Soluble- able to dissolve into a liquid
Heating- a change of temperature that does NOT involve a chemical change
Phases- changes of state ex: solid liquid gas
Florescence- a property of a substance to give off light- glows in the dark
Chemical property- the ability of a substance to change into a different substance in a reaction
Transparent- a substance that allows light through but objects are not seen clearly
Malleable- the ability for metal to be pounded into a shape without breaking
Viscosity- A liquid's resistance to flowing
Density- is the measurement that compares how heavy an object is to how big it is
